"Scripts I Can’t Live Without" Contest
Opengear's open source platform gives network managers and system integrators the most flexible, extensible, console server solution on the market today with integrated console server and management software for serial console ports, service processors, power solutions and environmental monitoring.
One thing we hear repeatedly is the importance of our open platform and the ability of our customers to write custom scripts. For example, customers write scripts that power cycle a managed device on a particular alert event or send multiple notification emails out when a particular alert triggers.
So as a result, we have decided to collect some of the best scripts from our community. Our hope is to collect as many sample scripts as we can and publish them on our web site – so our community members can learn from one another.
To say thanks, we are making this request a bit of a contest. To be eligible to win, you have to 2 do things:
