The power management in Opengear's console servers is built on the open source Network UPS Tools and PowerMan management software and Opengear's monitoring software.

One central power management window A simple Web interface monitors and controls all the Remote Power Control (RPC) devices in the data center or remote office. Authorized users have secure outlet control to power on, power off, and power cycle at the managed device level. Power metering and temperature monitoring are coupled with logging and alerts.
