How do configure alarms for PDUs? The console server Alert facility monitors the status of serially and network connected PDUs, and the status of any temperature and humidity sensors that may be located in the PDU. You can set trigger conditions for the current load of the PDU (or the load on specific PDU outlets - if supported) and warning/critical conditions for temperature/humidity. If an alert event is triggered, a notification is emailed to a nominated email address or SMS gateway, an SNMP trap is sent or a Nagios server is notified.
